We use special equipment - installed and manufactured by our partner company Reactel+MDAS – that enables us to automatically maintain a database of regular meter readings. We use these to provide Monthly Summary Reports of projected costs, to quickly detect significant uptrends and waste, and to generate accurate commercial bills, and to verify DEP charges.

What it is: A monitoring device called a TeleProbe is attached to the meter(s). This NYC-DEP approved device is then simply connected to any regular telephone line or can transmit data via cell phone.

What it does: The TeleProbe reads the meter at selected intervals, and phones the readings into a central computer - automatically. Special software then compiles the readings and calculates consumption. Monthly summary reports of consumption and projected costs are provided automatically, enabling you to closely track water/sewer expense. SPECIAL NOTICE OF LEAK/WASTE SITUATIONS IS PROVIDED AUTOMATICALLY AS SOON AS DETECTED.

What it costs: A typical building with 50-100 units and one meter can receive monitoring services for only $ 50 to $ 60 per month. The probe unit is free and installation is inexpensive - typically only $ 950 each.
